AfReSlide (2013-2018) is a scientific project funded by the Belgian Federal Scientific Policy (Belspo), as part of the Belgian Research Action through Interdisciplinary Networks (BRAIN-be).

Collaboration: Belgian universities and institutions, as well as universities in Uganda and Cameroon. It  is coordinated by the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, in collaboration with the Royal Museum for Central Africa, the Université Libre de Bruxelles, and the University of Leuven. The partner universities in Uganda are the Busitema University and the Mountains of the Moon University, while the University of Buea is the partner in Cameroon.
